This is a line art request for my new friend artemisziebenwolf on FurAffinity.
It's a vent art of his character beating up a sleazy, rotund weasel
character. This was a very refreshing piece for me, and I think it is
one of the best pieces I've ever done. Since it was just a line art, I
was able to focus on what's important.
I take requests if you like my style and want something of your own! I can do sketches, line art, and coloring/shading.
I am a graphic design student, but my artistic roots started with good ol' pen and pencil sketches. I have decided to get back on track, and to hone my artistic skills. This blog began as a drawing-a-day blog, but I've decided that it would be best to convert it to a showcase of my drawings. I've included some select works about the page that I have created at other times to demonstrate my work so far. I hope you do enjoy it. My name is Ashlynn, and I am an artist.

Garen's Search
This is another request for a friend on FurAffinity featuring his panther character. I do really like the design of this
character, and I find that he becomes easier to draw over time. This
picture was really relaxing for me, and I got to use some difference
coloring/shading techniques for the trees.

Eeeeee. I'm quite excited with this. This is a request for MuffinMistress on FurAffinity. I absolutely love the horror genre, and I've always wanted to work on something with a bit of gore. it's not the best, I know, but I think I did pretty well with incorporating everything :) It was fun to take a design and try to turn it into something terrifying.

Garen
This is part of a reference sheet that I did for someone over at FurAffinity. He recommended me to a friend as well, so I'll be doing another soon :) I'm quite happy with how far my art has come.

Relaxing
This piece is quite possibly one of my best yet. I have a tendency to rush, and try to finish things quickly. But this one was different. I did the sketch one night, started lining it. And today I finished the line art and colored it. Most of the work was done in Paint Tool SAI, with touching up in Photoshop. Anyway. I tried some different techniques for the line art and the coloring. The pose was referenced from PoseManiacs.com, and the color reference was from a Greater Swiss Mountain Dog. I usually have a lot of trouble coming up with cool color schemes, so I just sifted through pictures of dogs until I found one I liked. I hope you enjoy :)
