Today I'm feeling pretty good about myself. I had a job interview at
Staples. I originally applied for a cashier position, but after finding
out I'm an artist, the manager said I'd probably like their copy and
print center position. I'm going in to meet with the general
manager.
I sat down with all of these amazing feelings and went "I feel like doing some amazing pixel art. I'll admit, it's not the greatest thing in the world - but when I sat down and started working on this, I totally blew myself away. I love how this character turned out! I'm going to name him Nightshade.
I think it's a simple enough design that I can do some other pieces featuring him. I haven't done pixel art in a long time. In truth, I kind of like it better than digital painting >.> I came up with the color scheme in my head before I did it, but I didn't know what color I wanted his eyes to be. I do love how the blue turned out. Let me know what you think!
